How to Get an Arrest Record Expunged From Your Record

If you find there are files on your record from a previous arrest or warrant that you would like to get expunged, then you should go to the local court house and submit paperwork for due process to have them removed. However, please note that the court has the right to deny your request for specific offenses such as sexual battery, child abuse, arson, aggravated assault, murder and other serious crimes. If your record on file reflects of a criminal nature then it's best to seek the advice of an attorney. Only a lawyer can effectively advise you of your options and help you get the record removed legally.
